Welcome to Michal’s Knitting Kniche

“Properly practiced, knitting soothes the troubled spirit, and it doesn’t hurt the untroubled spirit either.”
Elizabeth Zimmermann

Knitting is one of my creative outlets. Knitting is relaxing and rewarding. I enjoy teaching girls of all ages as well as workshops for women. I sell shawls, scarves, headbands and hats mostly. I do take special orders, including baby items.

I make a variety of chemo hats, for women, men and children for winter and spring/summer, as well as lap blankets which are donated here in Israel to cancer patients. My hope is to be able to have hats to distribute throughout Israel, although I would prefer hearing that there is no need because there are not any more chemo patients. As long as there still is cancer in the world, I will make soft chemo hats and distribute them for free.

  1. this is the greatest!!!

    much hatzlocha!!!

if you are an expert on baby clothes – maybe you would have a one piece romper set – the feet going up towards the belly and the chest with sleeves and all the up to the neck.

I used this pattern sooooooo much until one day it just got misplaced. I tried to remember it by myself and it was almost well done but not quite.

  2. Hello! I am the daughter of Sidney Israel Esterson, brother to Julius Esterson, originally from Baltimore, Maryland. My sister sent me your information because we are related not only by blood, but because I knit and crochet hats for chemo patients here in south Florida. They are distributed by a group called “Caps and Wraps” which is a subsidiary of “Head Huggers”, and we meet at the J.C.C. I don’t have a website, but I do have photos of my work, if you’d like to see them. L’hitraot. Marilyn
